Radiation error at VA hospital blamed on offline computer

Just a quick note pointing to a Philly.com story perpetuating VA hospital horror stories. This one concerns a botched monitoring of a prostrate cancer procedure due to computer workstation network cable being unplugged from the hospital's network. This resulted in failed treatment because calculations concerning post-implant radiation release amounts could not be made.
